CVMA Awards

It is that time of year again when the CVMA, through its awards program, proudly recognizes individuals and practice teams who have demonstrated significant accomplishments, exemplary leadership, and tireless commitment to Canada’s veterinary community.

We ask that you please share this information with your networks and members. Anyone, including members of the public, can nominate a veterinarian who is a CVMA member. Managers, please forward this to your committees and anyone else you think might be interested.

We are accepting nominations for the following awards until January 31, 2024: 

• CVMA Humane Award
• CVMA Industry Award
• Merck Veterinary Award
• CVMA Small Animal Practitioner Award
• CVMA Practice of the Year Award
• CVMA Distinguished Member Award
• CVMA Honorary Membership

Award recipients receive complimentary registration to the 2024 CVMA Convention in Calgary, Alberta, along with the other prizes specified to each award.

AWARD ELIGIBILITY

Award nominees (excluding those nominated for Honourary Membership) must be current CVMA members; however, they can be nominated by non-members. We invite you to consider nominating a deserving colleague for one of the following CVMA’s prestigious awards:
