Crossroads Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced veterinarian with surgical and medical skills; dental skills are considered an asset.
Compensation ranges from $130,000–$180,000, based on skills, experience, and hours worked. Plus an additional partnership opportunity available.

We are located in a 6,000 square foot spacious facility equipped with:

● Procyte hematology analyzer,
● Brand new Ultrasound,
● Tonovet,
● IDEXX Neovet cloud-based software with online booking,
● Separate isolation ward,
● Cat-adoption program,

We have 3 experienced veterinarians, 3 technicians, 2 assistants, 2 receptionists plus:
● Full kitchen with stove and oven,
● Separate cat-adoption area with two large rooms for play and windows,
● Large dental suite,
● 7 exam rooms,
● Large surgery suite with 2 surgery tables and 2 anesthetic machines,
● Office space for veterinarians,
● Plenty of runs and cages for hospitalized patients.

The Position
Medical:
● Perform physical examinations, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for each individual patient
● Review and analyze lab results and diagnostic records
● Perform surgical intervention as needed (pyometra, foreign body, cystotomy being the most common
● Transition patients to overnight care as needed and communicate effectively with referral hospitals in order to ensure continuity of patient care
● Document patient medical and surgical records with detail
● Develop a rapport with clients, understand their desires, clearly communicate plans, and findings
Leadership
● Promotes team-first and transparent practises that allow candor and feedback
● Mentors and maintains a healthy hospital culture motivated to excel
● Aligns with company’s core values: founders’ mindset, sees the bigger picture, always evolving, lead with integrity, sense of humour

Veterinarian/Business Partner 
NB Veterinary Urgent Care Group is part of the Galaxy Vets network, a new employee-owned veterinary healthcare system with a mission to give veterinary medicine back to all levels of veterinary professionals. 
Our urgent care model bridges the gap between general practise and after-hours care. We manage a dynamic and varied caseload, focusing exclusively on urgent and complex cases rather than preventive care. Our team delivers comprehensive diagnostic services, offers a broad range of surgical and procedural capabilities, and prioritizes compassionate client communication. We operate in a highly collaborative environment where every team member is empowered as an owner, contributing to the success and growth of the practice(s). 
The Perks 
● Our veterinarians are business partners, owning 10% equivalent of a hospital at the parent company level 
● Quarterly profit share bonus (similar to dividends) 
● Base pay ($150,000) or 25% production (whichever is greater) ($150K – $200K total compensation) 
● Average 32-36 hours per week + team meeting(s) 
● Paid vacation
